Been a while since i last updated the progress. Took some time fixing up the plastic kits from Chrysnbon. They are really wonderfully molded and almost look perfect. The detail mouldings are amazing. I should have chosen a chinoiserie print for the bathroom wallpaper. Would have looked calmer. Well, i may revamp later on.
The kit is not for newbies i would say. It started out really awful. I had sprayed painted the tub but it was so thick and uneven eventually i used thinner and removed most of the gunk. Now its rough and patching. I used acrylic which should have been that way from the start. I sprayed the sink as well and it turned out bad as well but i managed to cover it up a little. Bought silver paint to go through the taps and silver parts to dull them down. I wanted to keep most parts white.
The de-clogger was painter red with a brown handle but it looked too ol’ skool so i decided to make it a little sleeker. Who says victorian cant be fancy. I added toilet paper to the roll. Created a rack as well. Added a string to the end of the brush. The little tooth brushes are super cute!
So the bathroom was re-positioned a few times. I had the sink facing the back but that didn’t look too charming. The side view is way better. Now i have so little space to play with the toilet bowl faces the viewer now. Hmm… I may just redo it once again when I put in the trims.
Oh well, I am semi happy about it, not too thrilled with all the troubles i ran in to. Next step would be the lighting I suppose. The white led light will be removed. I have decided so as it looks really weird having the bathroom and kitchen in white and the rest in yellow.
